PHANG NGA

POPULAR MARKETS:

  • Bang Niang Market: One of the largest tourist markets in Khao Lak, open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. It features street food, souvenirs, clothing, and more.
  • Old Takua Pa Sunday Market: Located in the historic part of Takua Pa, this market is open on Sundays and is known for its street food, souvenirs, local gifts, and a more relaxed, historic atmosphere.
  • Phang Nga Chatuchak Weekend Market: Despite its name, this market operates only on Mondays from afternoon to evening. It’s a lively spot for locals to shop for fresh produce, meats, seafood, and snacks.
  • Takuapa Flea Market: A street market in Takua Pa that features a variety of items and fresh food.
  • Kraphunga Fresh Market: A covered, local market in Phang Nga Town that is best visited in the early morning. You can find a wide assortment of fresh produce, meats, seafood, spices, and local snacks. 
  • Alive Market: A smaller market with food and a lighthouse bar.
  • Beachwalk Bangsak: Another flea and street market option.
  • Khu Khak Market: A food market frequented by locals for buying produce, open in the early morning in Khu Khak, next to the bus station
